About Tygerian Talbott

Tygerian Talbott is a Washington, D.C.-based fashion designer, creative director, and founder of TYGERIANLACE, a custom fashion brand creating statement pieces for athletes, entertainers, professionals, and individuals who understand the power of a memorable look.

For more than 12 years, Tygerian has built a body of work rooted in bold design, individuality, and the belief that fashion should feel as distinctive as the person wearing it. Her designs balance femininity, structure, movement, and unexpected details, creating pieces designed not simply to be worn, but to command a moment.

Since launching TYGERIANLACE in 2014, Tygerian has designed custom garments and commercial collections while producing and participating in more than 100 runway presentations and fashion experiences. Her work has been presented on stages from New York Fashion Week to Los Angeles Fashion Week, alongside national collaborations, editorial projects, and creative productions.

Her experience extends beyond the runway. Tygerian has created for all genres of clients developing one-of-one pieces around the individual rather than asking the individual to conform to the clothes.

That philosophy is now driving the next evolution of TYGERIANLACE.

Fashion Meets Sport

Tygerian is expanding the brand's work within women's professional sports, with a particular focus on creating custom fashion for athletes.

From the tunnel and pregame arrival to red carpets, media appearances, galas, award ceremonies, brand campaigns, and milestone moments, today's athletes are building identities that extend far beyond competition. Tygerian sees fashion as an opportunity to help tell that story.

Her approach begins with the woman rather than the garment: her personality, proportions, style, career, and the moment they wants to create. Each custom concept is developed to feel intentional and personal, while maintaining the recognizable TYGERIANLACE point of view.

For Tygerian, dressing an athlete is not about putting them in something beautiful. It is about creating something that feels worthy of the presence that is already carried.

Beyond the Design Studio

Tygerian's creative perspective is strengthened by a career spanning fashion, marketing, communications, production, and storytelling. She currently serves as an Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications in higher education, specializing in strategic communications, audience engagement, and brand strategy.

She holds a BA and MA in Criminology, with additional academic study in Sociology. That understanding of people, culture, identity, and behavior has influenced how she approaches both creative direction and brand storytelling.

In 2025, Tygerian launched the Emerging Designer Competition, an initiative created to provide independent designers with greater visibility, creative opportunity, and a platform for their work.

She is also the author of The People Pleaser's Exit, an exploration of high performance, identity, emotional labor, and the process of choosing a more intentional life.

Across each part of her career, the connecting thread remains the same: people, identity, and the stories we tell through what we create.

Today, Tygerian is focused on expanding TYGERIANLACE through select custom clientele, athlete partnerships, editorial collaborations, and fashion experiences while continuing to design from Washington, D.C.
